Plaza Building
Six gearless traction elevators serving 21 floors
This elevator modernization project was carried out while
the building was occupied. The elevator system is “State
of the Art”, resulting in real time elevator dispatching,
greatly lowering building tenant wait times. This system
was also equipped with monitoring, which is linked to
the owner’s maintenance department computer as well as
Virginia Elevator’s office monitoring system. Elevator
faults, call logs, waiting times and all other system
data can be displayed or created as reports.
